Hello, Sideshow Mutants!
As of this morning our Kickstarter campaign is officially fully funded and Eat the Rich is off to the billionaire-munching races! Thank you all for your support and your belief in this absolutely bonkers idea for a book. This anthology literally would not be happening without you.
If you’ve been intently following along (or following us on Bluesky) you might already know that an unexpected, last-minute windfall effectively doubled our budget and now all our stretch goals are happening, as well. That’s absolutely wild and wonderful and we’re very excited to be able to make this book without worrying if a sudden shipping expense is going to bankrupt the press. Our authors, submissions readers, and all the extra writers we can bring in now are thrilled and thankful, too.

Submissions
Submissions for Eat the Rich will be open from April 1st through April 30th, if that’s a thing you’re interested in. There will be an additional two-week reading period, through May 15th, for writers who are disabled, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or from other traditionally marginalized groups. Because if anyone’s got an axe to grind against the 1%, it’s them. Seriously, have you seen the world out there?! It’s fucking bad, folks.
Anyway, you can find the submissions guidelines here if you want to get a head start on crafting your carnivorous composition. And here’s a quick rundown of what our first readers are looking for.
